It's done

Thanks heavens, the secret project is finished! All I need to do now is pick up a parcel from the post office and wrap everything up before I send it off to it's final destination, my Secret Pal!

I have decided that I hate Secret knitting! Not only was it the first time that I've been forced to knit to a deadline, I hate that I cannot post a picture here. Well, not only the recipient has tried them on at least!

I cannot wait to pick up my CPH once more. Oh and Jomp's socks which I promised he would be wearing on Christmas Day. Oh and Beth's toddler scarf...and her dolls blanket! There will be pics a plenty again, soon!

I was going to reply to your last post telling you not to worry about the deadline! I know how hard it is - I've made something for my downstream pal too and I was panicking that I wouldn't get it done. Plus, I completely share your pain about not being able to post a picture *g*. Hey, you could always put it in a post titled "Lou, don't look!"... which would work if I'm coming over to your blog from Ravelry, but I guess would be too late if I'd clicked over from my blog. Oh well!

However, I'm sure I'm going to love whatever it is. I'm thrilled already that you've gone to the trouble of making me something :-)

glad the pressure is off, I couldn't knit to a deadline. Nor could I 'Secret Pal' I'd be afraid of sending & receiving a piece of unwanted knitting LOL! YAAAY for CPH getting some well-deserved attention!

I know what you mean about knitting to deadlines ... from the person who's to get another 11 wash cloths finished by Christmas! Hope the CPH is going well...

I didn't even bother knitting something for my sp. I did make her a bag on the first month, but it took her 2 months to post about it, which kind of made me loath to bother with anything else, so I think you're generous!!!!

I decided some time back that I wasn't going to do any more SP exchanges, although I met one of my best online friends that way.

Knitting to deadlines kills my mojo so I try not to do it!

I also have figured out that knitting to deadline is brutal. Although I must say right now I am on quite the 'finishing' binge. I think I may very well have everything I started in 2007 finished by the end of 2007. For me that is quite impressive, considering just a few weeks ago I would have never thought that possible.

I do hope your box arrives soon, I am dying for you to see your bits. For me, this is the hard part about SP, the waiting for the mail to do its job. If I had my druthers I would deliver the final reveal package in person... but, well, that just isn't in the stars right now.
